Ok, so the point of this post is just to have a bit of fun! I am going to list 10 things that I dream about. These are my goals / aspirations / dreams or whatever you want to call them. I'd love it if other people would also list theirs. Now these have to be attainable dreams. Things that just haven't happened yet or you can see happening in the future. Or just a pipe dream! Nothing is silly. These have to be purely selfish dreams just for you and no-one else! They don't have to be in any particular order! Go on! Give it a go! Comment below and / or post and link onto your own blog if you have one.
My dreams
1. To be a full time writer. Not nearly talented enough but one can dream!
2. To live in the country / over looking the sea - would love to waken to the sound of birds or waves instead of traffic noise! My dream house also has to have a study/library/reading room just for me!
3. To own a greenhouse and grow ALL my own fruit and veg! I look good in wellie boots!
4. To have chickens! - There's a bit of 'the good life' theme going on here!

5. To own an old VW Campervan - thats the hippy in me!
6. To return to Rome - loved it there. So beautiful.
7. To visit Lake Garda - only ever seen pics. Looks amazing!
8. To have an entire day just for me! - No housework. No kids. No Husband! - Bliss!
9. To lie on a hammock between 2 palm trees with my husband on a desert island! - Double bliss!
10. To have regular nights away with my husband - no kids! - enuff said! lol

1. Become a Social Worker (at least try)
2. Be a full time writer / publish something substantial (talent doesn't allow)
3. Write a novel (ditto)
4. Move to IRELAND <3 (too poor)
5. Live in a house with a GARDEN (too poor)
6. Own a pug <3 (too poor)
7. Get married (too poor)

All these things are so do-able!!! Too poor my bum! when u either become a social worker or full time writer u will be loaded with cash and so the other dreams will fall into place! Remember your twitter friends when u rich tho!!!

Jonty, where are you working that social workers get lots of money. A living wage, I'll give you, but that's all. My dreams are:
1. Travel back to Scotland
2. Travel elsewhere, preferably in the winter to somewhere hot
3. Travel somewhere fun in the summer (road trip!!!!)
4. Have enough money to go see live performances of music/theatre
5. To purchase books
6. Get my husband to clean the house (to something approaching my standards -- I'm working, he's not)
7. Got going on ye olde genealogy

It's okay, Jonty. My social worker co-workers are planning an intervention on my husband any time now :-) And we will have more money in just under a year and a half when he gets the old age pension and the Canadian pension (from working).
