bad tempered bunnies and cackling coughs

Oh now haven't blogged for ages and ages! Now let me think what mega exciting things have happened since my last post...........hmmm.........errrrrr nothing really! Tut. I really have got to get myself a life.

I had to take last week off work sick. Had such a bad chest infection and bad cough I considered investing in an oxygen tent and blessed the chesty cough gods that I was not a smoker!

Nothing new or exciting to declare on the ankle biters except that the wannabe fashion diva has discovered eyeshadow! Trying to subtely suggest that she go for something a little more feminine than the 'black eye' look didn't really go down very well and we compromised to the 'i look like I've a hangover aged 11' look.

Afro boy has compromised also on the massive hair front and agreed to have his afro trimmed (a bit) in an effort to look semi-employable in an effort to get a summer job. I have told him though that he needs to refine his communication skills from grunting to at least mumbling a little louder. He was not amused and grunted some form of response before disappearing back to his dungeon aka bedroom. Am gonna suggest a job as a diplomat.

Big sexy hunky hubs has promised me an iphone for my birthday. Went to get one tonite and the shop outta stock! Mega strop almost ensued! I might have to wait until the weekend now!

I have been trying to de-stress all the work crap during the last few weeks by turning into mega gardener and still attempting to grow my own fruit and veg. I have a giant crop of a whole 2 peppers so far and 2 marble sized tomatoes! tut. The mentalist rabbit has been attempting to dig up the pear tree and despite being shoved outta the way with the garden broom he continued to ignore me and bit the broom. I'm fast losing the power struggle in this family! My lovely step children have been behaving themselves thankfully although the Karate kid had a front tooth knocked out when he had an argument with a wall and the wall won!

Right, am away to poke hubs with the broom in the hope he makes me a cuppa!
